Color Blocking with a touch of Print

Wearing: Forever21 Crop Top/  Vintage High Waist Pants/ Zara Lace up Shoes
Pictures By : Hassan Said

I've been wanting to share this minimal outfit with you for a couple of weeks now. But for some personal reasons it got delayed, so you can throw in an imaginary black coat and it will fit perfectly with this winter.
usually i pair crop tops with super high waist bottoms, it makes me more comfortable and it makes the look more symmetrical without revealing too much. This outfit can go from day to night and it will still look appropriate. of course my obsession with scarves this season is very apparent but it gives it a retro/elegant touch to a minimal color block look .Simplicity is better with a personal touch ;)

All Seventies look in a $1 Shirt

Wearing: $1 Thrifted Red Shirt/  Old Gap Flared Jeans/  Nine West Nude Clogs/ Aldo Blue Sunnies

Its been a while since my last post, studying and worrying can take a toll on me sometimes. But i am back and hopefully for a steady flow of posts. As you can probably tell, i am a huge 70's fan which makes it perfect that its all coming back this season and i am sure it will stay for a while. I got this shirt at a Sunday $1 sale and it was the perfect piece to pair with this old pair of Gap Jeans (that i kept for years knowing it will comeback..which was proud moment when it did! ) and i added a little navy scarf for a more nostalgic look with nude accessories not to overwhelm the red. I spent a whole day in that outfit walking around and grabbing dinner and it was pretty great, felt fresh all day and i give myself an extra point for comfort. let me know what you think.. Hope you have a good start to your week and get inspired to inspire everyday!!

70's Inspired Pinafore with Hints of Color Blocking

Wearing: Forever21 Linen Pinafore / H&M Long crisp Shirt / NineWest Camel Clogs.

How Are you guys? Hope you had a good week and ready for an even better weekend. i've had a couple busy weeks from friends visiting from back home to celebrating the husbands Bday. its been exhausting and fun! here is an outfit that i wore for a Sunday BBQ and meet up with friends later. the dress is so light wight which was perfect for the extreme humidity we've had, i styled it with light blue so that the colors complement each other in a 70's manner, with camel clogs for being neutral  and added just a hint of color mainly red with the necklace as chocker and the watch. Let me know what you guys think of this would love hear feedback. Have a wonderful weekend and stay inspired.

That Green Skirt

Wearing: Vintage everything/ Zara Patent Booties.

i've got so many nice complements on this skirt that i had to put it on the blog. i was so happy when i found it as its a perfect color fits very nicely and just the layers look a,mazing to me. my first hunch was to add the turban, i thought the green in the headband reflects and focuses nicely on  the skirt. as it gives it an older look. and adding the black definitely made the skirt pop out more. this look was so fun for dinner, gallery opening and a nice stroll in downtown,  its comfortable but looks put together. let me know what you girls think and have a wonderful summer weekend.

Suede Chamois Vest

Wearing: Esprit Black Jeans/ Street Level Double sided tote from Urban Outfitters/ Franco Sarto Black booties/Thrifted everything else

It has been a while since my last post! my life has been changing dramatically the past couple of months, as i got a new job and also developed a sudden interest in studying and venturing in real estate. its been exhilarating but gave me so little time to blog. am sure as i get into the routine i will be able to post more frequently. with that sudden change my style has been affected too, i've been into simplistic color blocking lately and i am loving it. i found that vest at a vintage store and it got my eye right away i could think of 10 ways to style it. here is the first outfit which is more western american inspired with a touch of peace! let me know what you think, hope you girls find it inspiring to just mix different styles elements. wishing you a kickass week ahead.

Hippie Lilly

Wearing: Thrifted Vintage Maxi Dress/ 40's Small Bag/  Round Top Hat

Hola Lovelies!! As you can tell from the post's title, this outfit was pretty much inspired by Lilly Pulitzer's prints. when i found this dress randomly at a thrift store i was so happy with the burst of powerful colors in this dress and Pulitzer designs came right to my mind. hence why i styled it very 70's this time. i have 10 ways already in mind to style this dress. don't you just love when you land something that pretty?. let me know what you guys think and have a great and safe weekend ahead :)

All Black at A Secret Getaway in the City!

Wearing: H&M Skirt and Jumper /  Zara Pointed Booties /  Topshop Striped Tote.

Pictures By: Hassan Said

We took a random drive the other day as we sometimes do, and we ended up in a Beautiful hidden place in LA. We found Lake Shrine which is a Hindu Temple in the middle of a beautiful, serene park and lake. it is just one of those places where you can sit for hours not saying word and still feel refreshed and calm. i definitely recommend just going and waking around for abit probably mid week is best cause its empty! anyhow i wore a very simple  outfit since i didn't know exactly where we were heading, all black never fails. But instead of just jeans and t-shirt or shirt, i played with Silhouette mainly. over sized jumper with a slim cotton skirt and some silver for not being too bland.
Let me know what you guys thing and please recommend any hidden place in the City that you like, i would love to know more :)
