All Seventies look in a $1 Shirt

Wearing: $1 Thrifted Red Shirt/  Old Gap Flared Jeans/  Nine West Nude Clogs/ Aldo Blue Sunnies

Its been a while since my last post, studying and worrying can take a toll on me sometimes. But i am back and hopefully for a steady flow of posts. As you can probably tell, i am a huge 70's fan which makes it perfect that its all coming back this season and i am sure it will stay for a while. I got this shirt at a Sunday $1 sale and it was the perfect piece to pair with this old pair of Gap Jeans (that i kept for years knowing it will comeback..which was proud moment when it did! ) and i added a little navy scarf for a more nostalgic look with nude accessories not to overwhelm the red. I spent a whole day in that outfit walking around and grabbing dinner and it was pretty great, felt fresh all day and i give myself an extra point for comfort. let me know what you think.. Hope you have a good start to your week and get inspired to inspire everyday!!

That Green Skirt

Wearing: Vintage everything/ Zara Patent Booties.

i've got so many nice complements on this skirt that i had to put it on the blog. i was so happy when i found it as its a perfect color fits very nicely and just the layers look a,mazing to me. my first hunch was to add the turban, i thought the green in the headband reflects and focuses nicely on  the skirt. as it gives it an older look. and adding the black definitely made the skirt pop out more. this look was so fun for dinner, gallery opening and a nice stroll in downtown,  its comfortable but looks put together. let me know what you girls think and have a wonderful summer weekend.

60's Man Inspired

Wearing: Plaid Short Coat/ H&M (Old)  Mustard Pants/F21  High Collared Shirt/Thrifted  Patent Leather Booties/Zara  Black Tote/Michael Kors

Pictures By : Hassan Said

Hello Lovelies, its been a while i know! Its been crazy lately with my family coming to visit from across the globe  and having to work, my head was kinda all over the place and i couldn't focus on writing or taking pictures for my blog. but its all over now and i am back and excited to continue getting inspired and posting more and more.  we sis this shoot not long ago as the weather has been kinda schizophrenic lately. I like to keep warm but also have an option to take off a layer when it suddenly gets hot  as it usually does in LA. i paired those mustard pants with a black shirt and added the coat that has some yellows and pinks in it to match and create more of a suit look. let me know what you think its always nice to get feedback. hope you're off to great start of the week.

All Black at A Secret Getaway in the City!

Wearing: H&M Skirt and Jumper /  Zara Pointed Booties /  Topshop Striped Tote.

Pictures By: Hassan Said

We took a random drive the other day as we sometimes do, and we ended up in a Beautiful hidden place in LA. We found Lake Shrine which is a Hindu Temple in the middle of a beautiful, serene park and lake. it is just one of those places where you can sit for hours not saying word and still feel refreshed and calm. i definitely recommend just going and waking around for abit probably mid week is best cause its empty! anyhow i wore a very simple  outfit since i didn't know exactly where we were heading, all black never fails. But instead of just jeans and t-shirt or shirt, i played with Silhouette mainly. over sized jumper with a slim cotton skirt and some silver for not being too bland.
Let me know what you guys thing and please recommend any hidden place in the City that you like, i would love to know more :)

Texture and Print !!

Wearing: Gingham Dress/ Thrifted and shortened by me.  Denim Textured Bomber/H&M Conscious Collection.  Scarf/ Target(old).  Bucket Bag/Michael Kors.  Boots/H&M
Pictures by: Hassan Said

Hello Lovelies, Hope you're having a productive Tuesday! its pretty gloomy here in venice, which is getting to me a little. so i thought nothing better than blue and some print mixing for todays post. i Bought this dress in a 1$ sale and shortened it myself for it to look more current rather than being one piece of gingham that goes above the ankle. I styled it with this denim bomber  as it accentuates the color and adds texture, and finally wrapped this old scarf just to break the blue alittle bit. let me know what you guys think. its always appreciated :)

Contrasting the Weather with Orange

Wearing: Black Cardigan/Forever21  Shirt Dress/Michael Kors  Boots/Harley Davidson      Reversible Tote/ Urban Outfitters & Orange Belt as a Bow tie.

Do you ever feel like contrasting the weather with your outfit? i usually do when its really sunny, i go to black for some reason. And when its gloomy and grey, i like to be colorful. so here is one example of that exact case. we were heading for lunch and it was pretty grey all over, although orange is not my go-to or even a favorite color of mine, i did put it on for the occasion. it was the brightest thing sitting in front of me. I added  this old dress's orange belt for the outfit to look kinda complete, and paired with all black base. let me know what you guys think of this. and have a good productive week ahead.

A Sunny Cold Day in Neutrals

Wearing : Skirt, Jumper & Shirt/Vintage   Clutch/Prada   Brown Booties/ H&M
Olive Sunnies/Urban Outfitters

Hello lovelies! For most of the winter time, i am pretty much dressed in these colors. for some reasons i specially love neutrals in winter it feels comforting and warm somehow(of course 70's inspired!).  i've had this skirt for a couple of years now and its my favorite, you can always dress it up or down, buttoned or unbuttoned and it still looks good. i am down with the flu this week and looking at these pictures of me in a better state makes me feel a little better. let me know what you think and stay warm!

Peace & Love/ Turban & Band Tee!

Wearing: Led Zeppelin Tee,  Peace Scarf as Turban,  TopShop Mom Jeans, Vintage Black Purse, Steve Madden Black Sneakers, Kardashian Collection Sunnies

As you might see, i am still pretty much in my 70's inspiration phase. here is a shoot we did a couple of days before new years, when the weather was actually nice and warm. i put this outfit together for a day running around doing errands and apartment hunting, its pretty comfortable and basic but still just the addition of the band and the scarf gives it a nice edge. hope you guys enjoyed your holidays and ready to take 2015 by storm, wishing us all good luck and prosperity.
